What is an otolaryngologist?

Office Hours and Appointment Information
We have several office locations for your convenience. At Broker, Cramer, & Swanson, our ear, nose, and throat physicians are on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Day and evening appointments are available at all locations. We ask our patients to please provide at least 24 hours advance notice when canceling a scheduled appointment. Doing so allows us to offer the time to patients who are waiting to be seen.
We can accommodate any emergency patients immediately. If you feel that you have an emergency that cannot wait for the office to open, you may contact our physicians by calling our Phoenixville, Pottstown, Roxborough, or Bryn Mawr offices. The answering service will notify the physician and you will receive a return call shortly thereafter.

Post-Operative Instructions
At Broker, Cramer & Swanson; Ear, Nose & Throat, we are dedicated to ensuring a quick and successful recovery for each and every one of our patients. After surgery, our surgeons provide detailed instructions to patients for the best possible recovery and results. For the most successful recovery, patients should:
- Get plenty of rest.
- Avoid blood-thinning products, such as aspirin, ibuprofen, and alcohol.
- Avoid eating or drinking foods or beverages that are extremely hot, or others instructed by your doctor.
- Take all antibiotics and pain medications as prescribed by our doctors.
- Refrain from exercising or engaging in strenuous physical activities for a few weeks.
- Refrain from bending over for extended periods of time.
- If necessary, irrigate the operated area as instructed by your doctor.
